Extending Creative Practice

The Extending Creative Practice (ECP) is a European project which is motivated by a desire to make ICT accessible to marginalised communities, particularly elderly people and isolated people from rural communities.

The partners are looking at ways the work can be taken forward in the coming months and years.  A partnership meeting will take place in Brighton during January 2013 and this will be the first one attended by DigitalStoryLab from Copenhagen.

Mark Dunford from DigiTales and Alison Rooke from CUCR co-authored an article for a forthcoming book on Digital Storytelling practice.  This followed on from Mark’s presentation at the RelatetoDigitalStorytelling conference in Valencia during March 2012.

In September staff from Digitales, Mitra and CUCR will travel to Laurea in Finland for a ‘Train the Trainers’ workshop with Caring TV staff and Laurea teachers.
